Another ceasefire violation by Pakistan army in Kashmir

Srinagar : The Pakistan army made another ceasefire violation in Jammu and Kashmir’s border district of Kupwara, police said here Saturday.

The Pakistan army fired shells at Indian positions in the Keran sector of the line of control late Friday evening, police said.

“There was no loss of life or property on our side,” a senior police officer said.

Meanwhile, one separatist militant was killed in a joint operation by the state police, 9 Para Commando regiment and 21 battalion of the Rastriya Rifles.

“One AK 47 rifle, three AK magazines, 53 rounds of ammunitions were recovered from the slain militant,” the police said.
