Chilpancingo (Mexico) : Seven people including two women, two children and three police officers have been shot dead by unidentified assailants in the south Mexican state of Guerrero, EFE news agency reported Friday.
The miscreants attacked a house in the town of San Luis de la Loma early Thursday killing the women and the children.
The assailants later ambushed the police vehicle headed for the crime scene and killed three police officers, the officials said.
The gunmen also opened fire on several houses in the towns of San Luis la Loma and San Luis San Pedro as they drove away.
The police were investigating the incident.
