Riyadh : The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries opened a symposium on marketing and future projects that helps ready the September Summit in Vienna, Austria.
The meeting exposed doubts on implementing measures against speculators responsible for current prices rounding $115 the barrel.
OPEC General Secretary Abdullah al-Badri called for tighter oil market regulation to reduce speculative investments.
The consumer countries are asking the producers to increase market supplies but the OPEC insists that current supplies are enough.
