By Xinhua,
Tehran : Iran Monday said it did not see possibility of an Israeli attack on its nuclear facility, the country’s English language international news channel Press TV said.
“We think that regional and international developments and the complicated situation faced by Israel itself will not allow that country to launch military strikes against another country,” Foreign ministry spokesman Hassan Qashqavi told the weekly press conference here.
He called Tel Aviv’s threat of going to war over Iran’s controversial nuclear programme psychological and media warfare.
The Israel Air Force has recently claimed that it is ready to execute any order to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons.
Israel, the US and their Western allies have accused Iran of secretly developing nuclear weapons, but Iran insists that its nuclear programme is only for peaceful purposes.
