Talking to IRNA in Berlin, the head of the Society for Humanitarian Support of Palestinians (GHUP), Izzeddin Musa said, “The situation in Gaza is as miserable as it can get and the PA is also responsible for the situation. These PA guys are willing to sacrifice 1.5 million Palestinians to hold on to power. It is really a shame.” He said many Arab countries, especially Egypt and Jordan, were also “ready to sacrifice Palestinians.”

“They have cut electricity in Gaza because they want us to crawl on our knees and beg for mercy,” Musa added.

The 70-year-old Palestinian intellectual pointed to an acute shortage of food and medical supplies in Gaza, affecting especially Palestinian children.

Musa hailed what he termed “the incredible support of Syria, Hizbollah and Iran” for the Palestinian cause.

GHUP was founded in 1991 by a group of Germans as well as German – Palestinians.

Israel’s inhuman blockade of Gaza has sparked international condemnation and outcry.
