Brussels : US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said here Tuesday that she is going to New Delhi to consult with the Indian government on how the U.S. can help in anti-terrorism fight following last week’s terror attacks in Mumbai.
“Everyone should cooperate fully and Pakistan needs in particular to cooperate fully and transparently. I was pleased to see the statements of the Pakistani government that they intend to do so,” Rice told a press conference here Tuesday night after a meeting of NATO foreign ministers.
She was expected to leave for India after the NATO meeting late Tuesday night.
“I am going to express solidarity with the Indian people. It was a horrible attack. It was also an attack that killed American citizens and it is therefore great concern to the US,” said Rice in her final press conference at NATO as US Secretary of State.
