Pakistan Reiterates Support to India

Islamabad : Pakistani Foreign Minister Mahmoud Qureshi reiterated his country’s support to India to undertake a joint investigation over Mumbai attack and discuss a common strategy against terrorism.

The Geo News TV emphasized here Monday Qureshi’s declarations in Paris in which he assured that Islamabad want to solve this conflict through talks and that he is collaborating with New Delhi in all the aspects.

Both countries chose the French capital to hold a meeting that was not previously divulged between Qureshi and the Indian Foreign Affairs Minister Anand Sharma joining the first political meeting between both parts since Mumbai attack took place.

In addition, Anand said Islamabad has a lot to do to fulfill its promise of acting against organizations like Lashar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammand and other groups involved in terrorist activities from the Pakistani field.

President Zardari insisted that Pakistan wanted a long-lasting peace in southern Asia and the best relations with India.
