Kathmandu : A crude explosive device detonated Sunday morning outside a school in the Nepali capital – the third such incident in two days, but there was no report of injury or death in the incident.
Kathmandu police chief Nawaraj Silwal told reporters that an improvised explosive device went off at 6.45 a.m. in front of the Durbar High School, adding that no one was injured in the incident.
The police was investigating the incident, he said.
Saturday morning, a minor explosion took place at the entrance of Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu.
A woman sustained injuries in the blast which caused minor damage to domestic carrier Buddha Air’s office at the airport.
On Saturday afternoon, there was another minor blast near the airport gate, reports said.
