Pakistan issues visas to 900 observers, newsmen for Elections

Islamabad : Pakistan has issued visas to nearly 900 foreign election observers and reporters to monitor the February 18 parliamentary elections, the interior ministry said in a statement.

Several of them have arrived in Pakistan. Their visas have been issued with validity up to February 25, 2008, so that they can cover the general elections.
