Nights to get colder in the next two days

New Delhi : Even as the met Office forecast a fall in minimum temperatures over the next two days, the minimum temperature in Delhi continued to rise for a third day and reached eight degrees Celsius Tuesday.

The minimum temperature Monday was 6.2 degrees Celsius and 5 degrees Celsius Sunday.

The minimum temperature Wednesday is expected to be around eight degrees Celsius.

The Met Office has forecast isolated rain or thundershowers over the northwest India during in the next 24 hours ending Wednesday evening.

The lowest minimum temperature of 1.7 degrees Celsius in the plains was recorded in Ganganagar, Rajasthan.

Rain and snowfall are likely over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and parts of Uttarakhand Tuesday.
