Islamabad : A Pakistani Army helicopter crashed Wednesday in the country’s lawless tribal areas, killing at least seven officers aboard, local reports said.
It was unknown whether the helicopter suffered mechanical failure or was shot down over the South Waziristan district, where around tens of thousands of Pakistan soldiers and paramilitary troops are battling armed Islamic militants, DawnNews TV and the state-run PTV reported.
