Berlin, Feb 9, IRNA ,The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Mohammad ElBaradei on Saturday reported “good progress” on clarifying all outstanding issues and questions over Iran’s nuclear program.
Addressing the Munich security conference in the south German city of Munich, ElBaradei said the next IAEA report will reflect this progress in the negotiations between the UN nuclear watchdog and Iran.
The IAEA chief urged “confidence-building” talks between the West and Iran.
He stressed confidence could only be restored through “direct talks.”
Tehran and the Vienna-based IAEA had earlier agreed that all remaining issues on Iran’s nuclear program had been outlined and were to be resolved during a specified time-table.
