Patna: Maulana Anisur Rahman Qasmi, general secretary, Imarat-e-Shariah Bihar, Jharkhand and Orissa, expressed his deep shock over continued violence in Maharashtra. Talking to TwoCircles.net in Patna, he said the anti-northerners campaign in the state could pose a threat to the integrity of the county.
He compared mass migration of labourers from the state with partition. He expressed his sorrow on the migration of Bihari labourers in good numbers from the state. He said regional bias among people of the same country was most dangerous to the unity and integrity and peaceful atmosphere of the county. He highlighted the contribution of Bihari labourers in the development of the state where they go to work.
Maulana Qasmi urged the central government to take strong action against those who are instigating and perpetuating violence in the state.
