San Jose (California) : India’s Mahesh Bhupathi and Mark Knowles of Bahamas sailed into the second round of the $436,000 SAP Open doubles event here with a facile win over Czech duo Jaroslav Levinsky and Radek Stepanek.
Bhupathi-Knowles duo, seeded second here, thrashed Levinsky and Stepanek 6-2, 6-3 in the first round encounter Tuesday night.
The Indo-Bahamas pair will next face Scott Lipsky and David Martin of the US, who prevailed over Igor Kunitsyn of Russia and Jim Thomas of the US 4-6, 6-3, 12-10 in the first round.
