Islamabad : The US President, George W. Bush, has congratulated his Pakistani counterpart, President Pervez Musharraf, on the successful holding of free, fair and transparent elections.
President Bush held telephonic conversation with President Musharraf on Wednesday night and extended his congratulations, media reports said Thursday.
He pledged to continue the US support to Pakistan in the fight against terrorism, adding that the elections will bring stability in Pakistan.
