Saharanpur: The diversity of Indian culture is unparalleled, and this has strengthened bilateral relations between India and Afghanistan over centuries, said Dr. Makhdoom Rahim, Afghanistan’s India Ambassador.
He was addressing a convocation ceremony at Ramrati Women’s Polytechnic in Rampur, Uttar Pradesh, on 27th February. He awarded certificates to Afghan girl students who completed their diploma course in Computer Applications at the institute.
Elaborating on old relations between India and Afghanistan, he said India was a good neighbour. He said these Afghan girls, were fortunate to get the opportunity to study in India, learn its languages and observe its culture closely.
