A spokesman from the ODM, Lone Salim, specified that they will only accept to talk with Kibaki if the president of the African Union and Ghana ó s head of State, John Kufuor, intervenes as mediator.

According to information from the president ó s office, talks could be held on Friday.

Odinga does not trust the proposal of the Executive, which according to his denunciations fixed the results of the December 27 general elections to keep power.

Due to that, a wave of violence was unleashed, leaving so far about 600 dead and about 250,000 people displaced.
