Aden : An official source in the local and security authority in Aden stated that some misled elements used bombs on Sunday in a rally titled “Tolerance and Consolidation Meeting” in Aden that claimed the lives of two citizens and injured 16 others, including 7 policemen.
The source told Saba that security bodies arrested the attackers, seized their possessions and admitted the injured people to hospital.
It pointed out that the attack took place when the rally was to end. ” Those who are behind this coward act wanted to unrest security and stability in the governorate,” the source said, adding that the local authority has formed a committee to investigate the incident.
The source renewed thanks for citizens of Aden for their cooperation in and condemnation of the incident.
It’s worth mentioning that Aden local authority will hold a press conference at 06:00 pm in the governorate headquarters to acquaint the public on the incident.
