If Spears fails to attend the hearing she might be banned from visiting her children till the April trial, tmz.com reported.

Spears’ lawyers know that Commissioner Scott Gordon wants to address quite a few issues concerning the incident with Spears’ standoff with her children at her home last week.

The commissioner wants to know why Spears violated the custody order by not giving back the kids to her estranged husband Kevin Federline’s bodyguards that evening.

He will also want to know about why she had to be hospitalised and evaluated at a Los Angeles hospital immediately after the incident.

On the other hand, the sheriff’s department has refused to assist Spears if she visits the court Jan 15 because they have had it with her.

The singer has been “totally uncooperative” with the sheriff’s department by not giving them any information on when she will show up at the court. The department is frustrated with her and have no plans to assist her when she shows up at court.

She will have to find her own way from the parking lot.
