Ghaziabad : Eleven people were killed at Hapur checkpost near here in Uttar Pradesh early Sunday in a collision between two trucks, police said.
Six people were killed on the spot while 10 were critically injured and were rushed to two city hospitals, Ghaziabad Senior Superintendent of Police Deepak Ratan told IANS.
Five died in hospital, Ratan said.
The accident took place at 3.20 a.m. when the trucks approaching the checkpost tried to overtake each other.
