Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan reviewed the preparations being made for the investors meet to be held at Gwalior.
A meeting was held at the Mantralaya here on Friday. In the series of state government’s efforts to mobilise maximum investment in Madhya Pradesh, Gwalior investors meet is going to be organised on July 29 and 30. Water Resources Minister Anup Mishra was especially present at the meeting.
Chief Minister Chouhan instructed the officers to ensure maximum participation of industrialists in the Gwalior investors meet in view of tremendous industrial possibilities of the region. He said that prospective industrialists should be especially contacted for investment in agriculture and food processing, education, health, tourism, information technology and energy sectors as well in Delhi-Mumbai corridor of Madhya Pradesh Government and counter magnate city. The concerning departments should give presentation to introduce industrialists with the investment possibilities in these sectors, he added.
At present, MoUs to the tune of Rs. 2743 crore are proposed.
The meeting was informed that requisite infrastructural facilities are being developed at Export Facilitation Centre in Gwalior Mela complex where the two-day investors meet would be held. Necessary arrangements for visiting investors are also being ensured.

M. Upadhyaya, Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation, Praveen Garg, Energy Secretary Sanjay Bandopadhyaya, Commissioner Urban Administration S.N.
