Mumbai : The country’s largest bank, State Bank of India, posted a 15.1 percent rise in net profit to Rs.16.41 billion for the quarter ending June 2008 compared to Rs.14.26 billion in the corresponding period last year.
The bank clocked a total income of Rs.237.47 billion for the first quarter this fiscal, compared to Rs.188.82 billion for the comparable period of last fiscal.
