Mumbai : The country’s second largest private bank, HDFC Bank, has posted a net profit of Rs.4.64 billion in the first quarter this fiscal, as compared to Rs.3.21 billion in the corresponding period last year.
Its total income stood at Rs.42.15 billion, as compared to Rs.26.41 billion in the first quarter last year.
In mid-afternoon trade Monday, the HDFC scrip was trading at Rs.1,130 – up Rs.2.85 from its previous close.
