Kabul : Three persons were injured in a bomb explosion outside Pakistan consulate in Afghanistan’s western province of Herat on Thursday.
The bomb was planted on a bicycle parked in front of the consulate, police said.
The injured included a police guard and two civilians.
Spokesman for the Pakistani Embassy in Kabul Naeem Khan said no official of the consulate was injured in the explosion.
A police official in Herat Mohammad Sabir said it was a minor explosion that injured three people.
The two injured civilians included a woman and a child.
