Norwegian court acquits 3 defendants in anti-terrorism trial

Oslo, Norway : A Norwegian court has acquitted three defendants in an anti-terrorism trial because of insufficient evidence against them, the Associated Press reported.

The Oslo District Court says the prosecution failed to find enough evidence to prove charges that Arfan Bhatti and two other men plotted attacks against Israeli and U.S. embassies in 2006.

But the court has ruled that Bhatti is guilty of possessing illegal firearms.
