Yemen seizes over 135000 weapon pieces

Sana’a : Interior Ministry revealed on Friday that over 135000 weapon pieces had been seized since the government banned last August the carrying of various weapons in the main cities of the country, Saba reported.

Security sources said that over 3330 weapon pieces were seized since last May in a number of the provinces.

The sources added that the most of the seized weapons were seized at the checkpoints set up at the capital Sana’a and the provinces’ entrances.
