The meeting Wednesday, attended by Hamas leader Saeed Seyam, gathered also leading activists of the Fatah Movement, the Democratic Front for Liberation of Palestine (DFLP), the Popular Front for Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) and the Palestinian People’s Party.

They mulled over the impact of the Israeli breaches of the truce in the Gaza Strip and response to the violations, the PFLP said in a statement .

They also explored the possibility of resuming the Palestinian national dialogue to mend the rifts of the Palestinian ranks in the Strip and the West Bank.

During the meeting, Fatah leaders tabled a list of names of detainees from their movement in the Gaza Strip to Seyam who promised to study the list “in a positive perspective,” according to the statement.

The conferees agreed to meet again in the near future and form a task force to follow up the implementation of the truce with Israel.
