Mumbai : Murlidhar Narayan Chaini, vice-president of Indian Merchants Chamber (IMC) and president (corporate affairs) of Reliance Industries, has been elected IMC President for 2008-09.
Chaini has served the IMC in various positions like member of its managing committee, chairman of its energy and industry committees, and co-chairman of its India Interest Group.
Gul Kripalani of Pijikay Group, who is currently the chairman of the IMC international trade committee, has been elected vice-president for the same period.
