UPCA gives cash awards to senior, u-19 team members

New Delhi : The Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association (UPCA) has announced cash rewards for its cricketers who were members of the winning Indian senior and under-19 teams.

Rajeev Shukla, secretary of the UPCA, said, “I as secretary of the Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association (UPCA) announce that the association will present Rs. 500,000 to Praveen Kumar and Rs 100,000 each to Piyush Chawla, Suresh Raina of the senior team and Tanmay Srivastava, who was a member of the under-19 World Cup-winning team.”

He also said the Board for Control of Cricket in India has decided to present cheques of Rs. One million to each member of the junior and senior national selection committees.
