28 Muslim Women in which eight were minors who were arrested and beaten by the Hyderabad police when they went to saidabad police station to inquire regarding the arrest of a muslim youth Mr.Mohtashim an Enginering Student were today produced at Mr.Prasad Rao VIIth Add.Cheif Metropolitian Magistrate residence at Maredpally and were remanded till 20th march 2008.The Saidabad Police have Booked a false case against them Under Sec 148,147,454,427,332,348,506 r/w 149 in CC No 73/2008.Mr.Muzaffer Ullah Khan Adv from Majlish Bachao Tahreek (MBT) and Mr.Yahyha Ali Khan Adv of Civil Liberties were present at the residence of Judge when they were produced.
Mr.Amjed Ullah Khan Leader MBT and Mr.Jameel Uddin of committe for protection of undetrails went to Chanchalguda Womens Jail and met all the innocent Muslim Women and assured them of help.
