A brigade statement said operatives managed to fire five “Quds” missiles on Sderot, northeastern Gaza Strip.

The brigades also stated that the attack was in retaliation for assassinating of five Al-Quds brigade leaders and the Palestinian militants in the West Bank on Wednesday.

“There is no room for ceasefire,” said Al-Quds brigade in comment over Egyptian mediation efforts to that end.

According to eyewitnesses, Israeli warplanes fired missiles on the northern outskirts of Beit Hanoun, north Gaza Strip.

The sources confirmed the several missiles were apparently fired on missile launchers.

There were no reports of causalities or considerable material damage.

This is the first raid carried out by Israeli warplanes this week in Gaza Strip, said the sources.
