“I have no differences with Asif Ali Zardari and I will myself propose Asif Zardari’s name for the PM office if he expresses his desire,” he added.

When asked about offers being made to him to become Chairman of the Senate or president of the country , Amin said,” Presently, I am President of the PPP-Parliamentarians -the election winning party, which is a great honour for me.”

Reports about differences between the two leaders had been carried by the media but these came to the fore when Amin Fahim did not attend the meeting held at Murree between top PPP and PML-N leadership.

Fahim said he and Zardari are good friends and meet like brothers and thus there is no question of any confrontation between them.

“Our today’s meeting was held in a cordial atmosphere and we also had dinner together like yesterday,” he said.
