Tehran : The Islamic Republic of Iran assumed the rotating presidency of International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Mideast Region Office on Sunday.
Announcing this, the head of State Airport Companies public relations noted that Ramezan Ali Ziaie became head and Abbas Nikzad was named as a secretary and rapporteur of automation group in the ICAO Mideast Region Office during the ICAO meet from February 18-21 in Cairo.
Yadollah Aqaei said that assuming these posts are very important for the country, adding representatives from Egypt, Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the UAE, Jordan, Syria and Qatar also took part in the four-day meet.
