Patna : Delhi-based journalist Jauhar Abdullah was killed in Bihar when the car he was travelling in collided with a truck, the police said here Wednesday.
Superintendent of Police Vinit Vinayak said the accident occurred on the national highway near Mansi in Khagaria district. The driver of the car was also seriously injured.
Abdullah was on his way to his native village to attend his father’s funeral, Vinayak said.
“He died on the spot while his driver was seriously injured,” he said.
Vinayak said Abdullah was associated with a Delhi-based electronic news channel.
