Abu Dhabi : The United Arab Emirates (UAE) will host a meeting to discuss the problems faced by autistic children April 5-8, WAM news agency reported Wednesday.
The forum will be organised by the Zayed Higher Foundation for Humanitarian Welfare, Special Needs and Minor Affairs.
Aysha Al Mansouri, director of Abu Dhabi Autism Centre, said: “The forum will provide autistic children and their parents a real opportunity to share experiences and information about academic and social integration.”
Autism is a brain development disorder that impairs social interaction and communication and causes behavioural problems.
