Tel Aviv : Israel’s foreign minister says she supports the idea of compensating Israeli settlers who agree to voluntarily leave their homes in the West Bank.
Livni says she supports the idea of compensation in theory. But she adds it is still too early for a concrete plan because there isn’t an agreement on exactly what territory will be transferred to the Palestinians.
She spoke at a news conference Sunday with U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, according to a report of the Associated Press.
