New Delhi : At least 10 people were killed and two injured when a jeep fell into a gorge in India’s western state of Maharashtra on Sunday, a news report said.
The jeep fell 18 meters into a gorge while negotiating a sharp turn in the Raigad district some 70 kilometers south of state capital Mumbai, police told the PTI news agency.
The vehicle was carrying members of a local musical troupe, the report said. The injured victims were admitted to a local hospital.
