Beirut : Iranian headquarters to help rebuilding Lebanon underlined that all activities undertaken by the headquarters are legal, Iranian national news agency (Irna) reported.
Reacting to a recent statement by some officials in Lebanon who had claimed Iran is interfering in Lebanon’s domestic affairs, the headquarters issued a statement on Monday.
The headquarters declared that Iran had implemented more than 400 development projects in different areas of Lebanon after recent Zionist regime’s war against the country.
Islamic Republic of Iran has accepted the obligation to fulfill around 600 development projects in Lebanon, including construction and rebuilding different educational, religious and medical centres, bridges, urban planning, electricity and infrastructure projects of which 70 percent of the projects have been completed, the statement continued.
In the 33-day war of the Zionist regime against Lebanon, Israeli forces killed more than one thousand Lebanese and inflicted billion of dollars damage to the economy of the country.
