Candidates for Kuwait”s due polls praise PM”s keenness on enforcing law

Kuwait : Third constituency candidates Ahmad Al-Saadoun and Jaleel Al-Tabbakh praised His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah for applying the law.

In a seminar he held Monday evening, Al-Saadoun expressed his hope that Sheikh Nasser would continue in his post to carry on with the policy of reforms.

However, the candidate criticized the government, stressing that he is ready to offer help to improve its performance.

He pointed put that law reduced the number of violations in many projects that aimed to “seize the resources of Kuwait and its people.” Al-Saadoun called for controlling the number of expatriates who are entering Kuwait, warning that Kuwaitis will only make up 10 percent of the state’s population in 2030, according to studies.

Meanwhile, candidate Al-Tabbakh said, in a seminar he held Monday, that Sheikh Nasser had a major role in combating discords.

He stressed that each citizen has the right of safety and security and that law should be applied on everyone. He also emphasized the importance of national unity.

Al-Tabbakh demanded improving the educational curriculums, using advanced technologies in teaching, and teaching law in schools.

He also called for developing the health facilities, establishing medical cities, preserving the state’s resources, and solving the problems of the “Bedouns” (stateless people) in Kuwait.
