Abu Dhabi : Military forces from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and the United States have concluded the Hasm Al-Oqban 2008 joint GCC-US military exercise which kicked off on April 20.
The militaries of Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Jordan participated in the two-week war games as observers.
The exercise aims to bolster cooperation and coordination between the UAE and militaries of respective sisterly and friendly countries as well as to further boost mutual understanding on training and collective action on crisis management.
The participating UAE military forces passed all the stages of the exercise reflecting their high preparedness for emergencies.
