Political disputes between authorities is due to absence of vision – nominee

Kuwait : The candidate of the first constituency for the parliament’s elections Faisal Bourisly stated here Sunday that the conflict between the legislative and executive authorities during the last period was due to lack of vision.

He added in the symposium of opening of his electoral campaign that such a conflict is reprehensible in a country, known since its establishment for the cohesion of its people and its democracy inherent, saying that this would lead the country to a dark and unknown future.

He added that trivial issues have become of top importance at the expense of the development of the country, saying the political change should take its steps on May 17, electing according to the system of five constituencies, and forming a new government presenting the political parties in the parliament with ministers who have clear plans and programs towards reform and development.

Bourisly called for holding a national conference similar to “Jeddah conference” that took place during the Iraqi invasion, where it presented a clear vision to liberate Kuwait, and to work according to the constitution of year 1962.

He explained that such conferences and forums work on developing the political practice and present great examples of productive political practices, and he suggested issuing a law to regulate the political action, besides establishing a special committee to maintain a moderate level of practice in the parliament.

He added that when the ministers become capable of holding their responsibilities and present a serious work they would be contribute in elevating the level of the governmental practice, stressing the independence of the judiciary.

Bourisly have encouraged the youth to work in the private sector through reforming the working law in this sector especially with regard of the financial support, as well as issuing the privatization law and combating prices’ increases by activating a non-monopoly law.

The electoral campaign of the candidates included different topics like health care, education development, housing, child and youth care, child abuse, social problems, caring for elder people and people with special needs, and working on providing equal opportunities for citizens in education, health treatment and jobs.
