Gaza : Palestinian factions fired on Saturday two missiles from northern Gaza Strip, targeting southern Israel, an Israeli army spokesman said.
He told an Israeli radio station that the rockets landed in an open area in the western Negev, without causing casualties or material damage.
Meanwhile, Abu Ali Mustafa brigades of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) claimed responsibility for firing a missile on the Israeli city of Sderot, in a statement distributed in Gaza.
This attack, it said, was in retaliation over the Israeli army’s systematic assault on the Palestinian people in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
