Jeddah : The Saudi minister of Haj Dr. Fouad Al Farsi held a meeting with the Haj Mission of Niger, led by Minister of Religious Affairs and Humanitarian Action Labo Issaka at his office here yesterday. During the meeting, the two ministers discussed several topics concerning with the operations of next Haj, in particular transport and accommodation of the pilgrims from Niger in Saudi Arabia.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Al Farsi stressed the importance of pilgrims’ awareness before their departure from their respective countries for the Holy land. For his part, Labo lauded the efforts made by the government of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of Custodian of the two holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, in order to help all pilgrims to perform the rituals of Haj, the fifth pillar of Islam, in ease and comfort. He also thanked the keenness of government in providing the best possible services for pilgrims through implementing several mega projects over the last years, including the multi story Jamrat Bridge, which is under construction.
