Doha : World Renowned Islamic scholar Sheikh Yousuf Al Qaradhawi said that the history of the world’s wars such as the Crusades proves that Muslims can overcome the enemies if they hold fast to Islam’s principles. “We believe that the victory of Muslims and the defeat of Israel are indispensable, because falsehood will never overcome the truth,” the Qatar daily Al-Sharq reported quoting him as saying.
The aggression policy of the Zionist regime and the US will not last forever, and the spiritual power of Muslims and their return to the pure Islam of the great Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) will pave the way for overcoming the fake regime, Sheikh Qaradhawi added.
“Certain extremist Jews and the usurper regime occupied the Palestinian territories in the name of the Old Testament, he said, adding that Muslims, despite having the holy Quran, have gone far from the enlightening religion of Islam. “Isolation from the truth of Islam is one of the worst mistakes made by Islamic nations in confronting the Zionist regime,” he noted.
Sheikh Qaradhawi said that Israel has no historical or religious right to usurp the land of Palestinians, but the vain regime has misused ignorance of Muslims to occupy the territories. He concluded that historical documents and maps indicate that there has never been anything entitled “Israel” on the map of the world, and that the Zionist regime is a fake phenomenon in the Middle East, which is supported by Western powers like the US and the UK.
