Baghdad : The United States through its diplomatic mission in Baghdad has expressed satisfaction at the Iraqi judiciary’s rule to execute killer of Mosul Archbishop Paulos Faraj Rahho.
The US embassy in Baghdad said in a statement Washington was pleased with the judicial rule to execute the murderer of the senior priest who was killed last February.
The Iraqi authorities have decided to execute Ahmad Ali Ahmad, also known as Abu Omar, for abduction and murder of the archbishop in the northern city of Mosul.
Abu Omar is a leading member of Al-Qaeda organization.
