Gaza : A Palestinian rocket exploded near the Israeli settlement of Sderot, damaging several greenhouses without causing injuries, spokesman of the Israeli Army said Saturday.
The rocket was among several fired by Palestinians from north Gaza at southern Israel Friday evening and Saturday morning, he told Israel Radio.
The other rockets landed in open areas near Gaza Strip, he added.
In Gaza, Fatah’s military wing, Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, claimed responsibility for launching two rockets towards south Israeli Friday evening.
In a press release, the brigades said the attack came in revenge to the Israeli massacres against the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
