UN chief in China to see quake damage

Wenchuan (China) : UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon arrived at Yingxiu town in China Saturday to express sympathy for those hit by the devastating earthquake May 12.

Yingxiu, in Sichuan province, was one of the worst-stricken by the 8.0-magnitude earthquake that claimed 55,740 lives nationwide, 55,239 in Sichuan alone.
