Seoul : General Supervisor of Kuwait’s Dar Al-Athar Al-Islamiya Sheikha Hessa Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah said on Monday ties between the Arab world and South Korea have tangibly improved at various levels.
Sheikha Hessa, addressing inauguration of the Korean-Arab Society, said the establishment of the association would boost understanding and expand scope of mutual cooperation between the Koreans and the Arabs.
She praised efforts that have been exerted by the Korean government and local authorities for enhancing the ties with the Arab countries, noting that the world has turned into a small village as a result of the great development in the technological and communication realms.
The leading Kuwaiti woman called for bolstering cooperation between the two sides in the cultural, scientific and technological fields.
Both Kuwait and South Korea have been seeking to make peace prevail in the world, she concluded.
