Bhopal : To overcome the problem of teacher absenteeism in state schools, the Madhya Pradesh government has decided to appoint guest teachers in high schools and higher secondary schools, an official statement said here Wednesday.
“The high school and higher secondary school students are on the threshold of their careers and they should not suffer due to teacher’s absence. Therefore, the state government has decided to appoint guest teachers,” the statement said.
“These guest teachers will teach students during the absence of regular teachers so that no teaching periods are missed.”
The vacancies for the guest teacher’s post will be published on the website of directorate of public instructions, www.sednmp.nic.in, by May 30. The last date for applying for the posts would be June 15. The appointments would be made before the start of the next academic session July 1.
