Tendulkar, Laxman guide India to 202/3

Nagpur : Sachin Tendulkar and V.V.S. Laxman steadied the hosts as India made 202 for three in the first innings at tea against Australia on the first day of the fourth and final Test at the newly constructed Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA) Stadium here Thursday.

Tendulkar was batting on 66 and Laxman, playing his 100th Test, was on 34 when the umpires called for the tea break. Virender Sehwag gave a blistering start to the innings by scoring 66 off 69 balls. Debutant off-spinner Jason Krejza proved expensive for his two for 88.
